Ian qualified in 1980 form the University of Birmingham, Ian founded Great Shelford Dental Surgery in 1983 and sold the practice to Dr Bindi Shah in December 2012. From April 2013 Dr Ian Hunt has reduced his clinical time and NHS commitment at the practice. He now sees most patients independently of the NHS.

Due to being at Great Shelford Dental Surgery for the last 30 years Ian now sees three generation of patients. Ian enjoys treating nervous patients and is an avid believer that most dental disease is preventable and this applies to adult maintenance as well as children.

Ian also has an interest in minimally invasive dentistry i.e dentistry with as little tooth destruction as possible using adhesive techniques.

Ian moto is we are never too old to learn!
